This is the last photo I took of Hannes. 4th November 2017 at Abby's 50th birthday celebrations in Kayh. We last saw him at Rüdi's 50th gathering in Bonti. I have enjoyed meeting Hannes and Barbara everytime James and/or just I met up with Abby & Rüdi. Beer in hand and always with a twinkle in his eyes, we would communicate in my really rusty German. I will remember Hannes very fondly and we will be raising a few pints of beer in his memory.
